8” x 10” horizontal oil painting on raised panel

One of my “wetscape” series - a visit to a marshy wet land was the inspiration. The sun was shining with strong reflections, shadows and transparency. The rich orange mud and the fresh green of new growth all combined to enchant the eye.

Painted on raised birch panel 3/4” deep. Sides left natural wood. Framed with black floater frame.
