Created plein air and alla prima, this is a view from Gabriola towards Vancouver Island. Some common local water birds were paddling around while I was painting, so there they are on the left side - a hint of black and white buffleheads.

Painted on raised birch panel 3/4”deep. Edges left natural wood. Unframed.
