8” x 10” vertical oil painting on raised panel

Created plein air and alla prima in a delightful local garden in July. The sunlight was filtering through the trees and light up one corner of the mossy roof. There were so many wonderful, quirky elements I had to pick and choose what to include to keep the character of the place but not overwhelm the painting.

Painted on raised birch panel 3/4”deep. Edges left natural wood. Framed in black floater frame.
