This painting was commissioned to celebrate the Niagara region of Ontario during the season of autumn. Rows of grape vines and a field of corn are watched over by glowing maple trees. In the background, the Niagara escarpment leaves no doubt as to the setting. The warmth of the colours and the haze in the distance give the feeling of Indian Summer.

Painted on cotton canvas on deep stretcher bars. Sides painted as continuation of the painting. Unframed. Ready to hang.
