8” x 10” vertical oil painting on canvas

Inspired by a late December walk in Vancouver’s Stanley Park. The low slanting sun lit just a few limbs with a bright luminous glow. I love the loose free feeling that comes with painting alla prima (in one session).

Cotton canvas on 3/4” deep stretcher bars. Sides painted black. Unframed.
