Painted on a chilly day at the end of October, this giant large leaf maple must have been quite a sight in its hay-day and is still impressively stark. I enjoyed the interplay of the shapes of the branches and the movement of the clouds. The hydro poles are a reminder that there’s a road and people not so far away.
