8” x 8” square oil painting on raised panel

Created in part from memory of a sunset looking from Gabriola Island towards Vancouver Island at Brickyard Beach. The shift in the sky colour from pale orange through to lingering blue was my focus here.

Painted on raised birch panel 3/4”deep. Edges left natural wood. Framed.
