Created plein air and alla prima as a demonstration at the Commons, Gabriola. It was a cold spring day and the small fruit tree in the foreground was just thinking about possibly starting to blossom.

Painted on raised birch panel 3/4”deep. Edges left natural wood. Framed in natural maple frame.
